Description
They have one of the most structurally complex leaf forms in the palm world and cover all of the design requirements for the ultimate plant. Dense foliage, compact growth habit, interesting trunk texture and form, deep green, glossy foliage etc. Their Achilles heel is Mealy bug, cleaning in high traffic areas and trimming can be arduous and needs to be done with pinking shears to maintain the visual integrity of the leaf.
They work best as a feature but can also be used in troughs to create a hedge affect.
