  • This plant is only to be used indoors Happy Plant (dracaene fragrans 'massangeana') Common name Chinese lucky plant or Chinese money tree Description A very reliable and multi-faceted variety. As a standalone plant it has great presence with its variegated foliage, it is a real space saver as its growth habit is upright and tight, fantastic in partitioned work station areas where space is at a premium. On Occasion they do produce sprays of fragrant flowers but these need to be removed as the flowers begin to go over as they produce copious amounts of sticky sap. They are fairly disease resistant and like most Dracaenas like to be kept to the dryer side of watering. Size Small, Medium, Large Light requirement medium -  high  
  • For short term use indoors or outdoors Hedging Description We mainly use this option for short term events to delineate areas. Another common request is to put hedging in front of a stage to either hide cabling or other structures. We have also used them many times to soften a walled area where we actually alternate a tall single ficus with a hedge. We mainly use Syzygiums and Murrayas as hedging plants and can do hedging from 400mm tall to 1000mm. Size Small, Medium Light requirement Full Sun  
  • This plant is only to be used indoors Janet Craig (dracaena Fragrans) Common name Janet Craig Description A very reliable variety that has striking, large deep green strappy foliage. In multi planted situation it has the capacity to enhance the variegation of other plants and can tolerate the full spectrum of light conditions, from low to high. A large single specimen is also very striking. Light conditions will dictate the amount of water it requires but in most instances Janet Craigs prefer to have slightly dry soil.   • This plant is only to be used indoors Kentia Palm (Howea Forsteriana) Common name Kentia Palm Description A very long established variety originating from Lord Howe Island where production continues today. They graced the foyers and other stately rooms of many 19 century Mansions where they were used as feature displays because of their regal upright growth habit and their graceful spreading deep green foliage. They are an extremely hearty variety and are usually multi planted to give full coverage foliage from the base of their nursery pot, in the industry they are called Multi Kentias.   • This plant is only to be used indoors Marginata (dracaena marginata) Common name Dragon Tree Description Another well-established indoor variety, the Dracaena Marginata is best suited to a single feature planting because of its sculptural assets. Most are multi stemmed planted with the stems usually either straight or sculptured. Regardless of their cane form they are very striking with their sharp appearance but soft touch Size Small, Medium, Large Light requirement medium -  high  
  • This plant is only to be used indoors Pothos Totem (Epipremnum aureum) Common name Pothos – Devils Ivy Description Despite becoming very hard to source they are still a very popular option as they have a nice compact growth habit with striking heart shaped foliage that has some mottled colour variation to add a bit of impact. They are best used as a feature display or where space is at a premium. Size Medium, Large Light requirement medium   high
  • This plant is only to be used indoors Raphis Palm (raphis excelsa) Common name Lady Finger Description They have one of the most structurally complex leaf forms in the palm world and cover all of the design requirements for the ultimate plant. Dense foliage, compact growth habit, interesting trunk texture and form, deep green, glossy foliage etc. Their Achilles heel is Mealy bug, cleaning in high traffic areas and trimming can be arduous and needs to be done with pinking shears to maintain the visual integrity of the leaf. They work best as a feature but can also be used in troughs to create a hedge affect. Size Small, Medium, Large Light requirement medium -  high
  • This plant is only to be used indoors Sanseveria (Sanseveria dracaenaceae) Common name mother in law's tongue, Snake Plant Description A very hearty, long established variety that really lends itself to the current architectural trends in office design. Mass planting as an architectural feature is this plants strongest point not only because of its upright form but also the varying coloured striations on its foliage. Size Small, Medium, Large Light requirement medium -  high
  • This plant is only to be used indoors Seifritzii (chamaedora elegans) Common name Bamboo Palm  Description Named because they are of the Bamboo family but with a similar foliage form to palms, they are one of the most widely used indoor plants. They are a good stand-alone option where space is at a premium as they have an upright grown habit but work best when they are used in a trough with a different species centre planting. Size Medium, Large Light requirement medium -  high
  • This plant is only to be used indoors Selloum (Philodendron Selloum) Common name Selloum Description The Philodendron Selloum belongs to the Araceae family. They have foliage simular to the Monsteria plant or more commonly known as Elephant Ears. The Selloums foliage is somewhat more tender and of a lighter green. They are sometime hard to source as a stock line – especially in our winter months due to cold burn in transit. Size Small, Medium Light requirement low -  high
  • This plant is only to be used indoors Spathiphyllum Sensation (mauna loa) Common name Peace Lily Description A much heartier specimen than the long established general Spathiphyllum which has been a staple in the industry for decades, The Sensation has less foliage but the foliage it does have is far larger, leatherier and a deeper green in colour. Spathyphyllum's have a stunning creamy-white fragrant flower, enclosed in a large oval white spathes which turns a pale green with age. Because of their pollen being an allergen for asthmatics it is common practice to remove the pollinator as soon as it develops, this process not only removes the allergen but also extends the life of the flower. Light requirement low -  medium
  • For short term use indoors or outdoors Strelitzia (strelitzia nicolai) Common name bird of paradise Description One of the most attractive plants to be used as an indoor specimen because of their large fleshy green foliage. They are a statement plant that can either be used as a single stand-alone option or also as a centre display in a trough. Despite their flower being spectacular they rarely flower indoors. Light requirement medium -  high
